Midwest Roots + West Coast Soul

Founded in 2016 in the heart of the midwest, Amy Gillespie founded and launched a company intended to connect people with nature, with one another, and with themselves in comfort and style. In 2020, Campfire Experience headed west back to Amy’s place of birth to bring the good vibes to the great people of California. Joining forces with Pete Nowak, friend, surfer & CEO, the Campfire Experience California is launching in Summer 2020, serving the luxury glamping space of Southern California and beyond.

That’s our aim. More than anything we want to help people connect. Connect with nature; with themselves; with other people.

"Surprise and Delight" is our mantra. Whether we are adding items to our inventory, creatively concepting a new event for a client, or setting up our standard pop-up glamping village, we constantly ask how is this adding to the overall experience? We wonder, where can we add moments of surprise and delight? We want every person we interact with to feel joy, excitement, wonder, and ease.
